RECENT PICTURES

I haven't updated this for a while, so here is a whole bunch of things that I've made recently.  All the plates and original works are for sale, so hit me up if you're interested in any of these pieces. Plates!  I've been drawing on plates with porcelain markers.  I fire them in the oven and the image sticks on there just like a real plate!

  

Tarot Card!  I designed a tarot card for an exhibition which was organised by Southside Tearoom in Brisbane.  A whole bunch of artists designed a tarot card each.  They were printed by Little Peach Co.  My card is The Hanged Man.

Mural!  I painted this big mural on a wall of the Brisbane Hotel in Hobart during Mona Foma.  I'm really proud of it!  It is very huge with millions of tiny little details.   I've got a few more murals lined up!  Let me know if you would like me to draw on your wall.  I enjoy it a lot.

More art show stuff.

The opening is on November 27th in the gallery space above Old Bar in Fitzroy.  The show also features Sarah Chadwick from Batrider and we're both gonna play sets that night.

New Web Shop

Hi everyone.  I just added a web shop to this site.  You can buy limited edition prints of my artwork.  There are currently twelve images available, and I'll add more over time.  Lots of you have asked to buy prints over the last few years, but I've only just gotten around to setting up shop.  Enjoy!

I recently did some illustration for ABC- they have a new TV show called Splash.  I drew some black and white characters for online content and promotional print material.  

A New Poster

I did these illustrations a while ago for an animation that I made for Acer computers.  These were supposed to be the photos in someone's iPhone.  We didn't end up using them all, but I think that they look nice all together like this.

In Blood Memory

I just finished making Jen Cloher's new album cover.  It's called  In Blood Memory.  I made two alternate covers so people could vote on the cover through her Pozzible campaign.  I really wanted the top one to win because it cost me a lot of feelings to make.  It won by one vote.  I voted.

I recently finished this artwork for a Brisbane band called Cub Scouts.  It's their EP cover.

Bertie Blackman animation

I just finished a music video for Bertie Blackman for her new single 'Boy'.  I did all the illustration and Quan Yeomans (Regurgitator) did all the motion.  It hasn't been released yet, but here are some stills:

Monsters in my blood!

So recently I had an exhibition of monsters that I painted in my own blood.  The blood is the browny red parts.  The black ink drawings don't have any blood in them.  I got a nurse to take out 17 tubes of my blood and I put it in the freezer then thawed it out as I needed it.  Sorry about the shitty iPhone photos.  I wanted to take better photos, but they all got sold which is good I guess.  x
